Once again, we have my RSS feed to thank for this diary entry. This one's gonna be pretty short though, I'm sleepy as fuck.
Yesterday I went to a release party/live by the band Mondaine. I still haven't found a lot of local bands to go see, so we have a repeat of a band I've seen before. Maybe if I'd listened to the radio I'd find more more easily, but I don't. I'm planning on moving to the city though, since I'm sick of spending so many hours a day/week travelling, and when I do that, just... dropping by the place where this was should be pretty easy.
Tangentally related, I did email the place a couple of months ago to ask if they could update their (very outdated) schedule they have on their webpage, but I didn't get a reply. You'd think if they weren't gonna update it anymore they'd at least remove the old one, cus as it stands, I actually have no idea what year the schedule they've got up even is for.
Anyway, back to yesterday.
It was a lot of fun, though I sweated like a sinner in church. Gotta remember not to wear synthetic next time. Or sausage skin. Is that a phrase in English? Anyway, my dress was skin tight and synthetic and it made the sweating much worse. Especially since I had to sit and drive home without an AC after. My car is a fucknig sauna. I'm getting that fixed though. Sadly not yet.
They were really good. The singer has a great voice and the instruments are great too.
It was a release party for their new EP, that they released just a couple of days ago. Also, the encore was an as of yet unreleased song, so that was exciting.
Taking photos of several people in motion is fucking hard, aah.
Anyway, I got a pin and a patch for my jean jacket.
I'm gonna leave this here, I meant it when I said I was sleepy.
