Live at Heart 2026 & Nerike Pride 2026

*Stares at the length of the last diary entry versus how short this will be*

In my defence, I got sick like 15 minutes after getting to the party.

So unlike last year, I didn't have the chance to watch a lot of Live At Heart. By which I mean I watched one performance. Watching that performance is also probably why I got sick the day after, because it was pouring rain.

So I did watch the duo Green Tea Bitches. They were a lot of fun and had a lot of energy, which was needed since it was absolutely pouring during most of their performance.

Can I complain about something for a minute though?

The stage was a lot more ill-prepared for the weather compared to last year. I saw performances at the same town square last year and it rained then too, but you see those arrows pointing at, you know, electrical socket extenders (is that what they're called?)? Those were getting absolutely drenched and the music did have a little bit of an issue at some points because of the, you know. Rain. Who'd have thought it could ever rain in Sweden in September? Totally not me.

That's it for Life At Heart. On to Pride.

Pride was at the same time as Live At Heart, which was not a great idea. Also, outdoor parties in the middle of the september night? Why yes, I did bring my wool coat to the club. And I definitely needed it.

I started getting woozy almost as soon as I got there. I did manage to stay for a couple of the performances though. Watched a bit of Fashion Pack and Rainbow Room (two drag groups), and got to stay for Alcazar vs BWO (Bodies Without Organs). One member out of each group were there, performing together. Not the nut-job member of BWO, the other guy (there was also a lady in the group but this was the guy on stage, the lady is from Alcazar).

I'd always listened more to Alcazar than BWO so I did know their songs better.

I had a... not great time due to the fact that I was feeling like shit, but at least the performances were good.

I did not get to watch the Swedish Hollywood Wife perform her one song. I left before that. I felt like I was being terrible company, but uh. Hopefully the next time I go to the club'll be better.
